Sick as a parrot

Yes, the ref got it wrong and Italy didn’t deserve to win, but deep down we always knew it would end like this. Come the morning most Scots fans will still be sad, but there’s reasons to be optimistic. We’ve got the beginnings of a great team. They’re still young enough to achieve things at this level. Hopefully we’ll get a decent seeding in the World Cup qualifiers and start the campaign once again.
