iPod Newton
The iPod touch is an interesting little device. Essentially it’s an iPhone without the phone - something many people, including myself, will find quite attractive. When the iPhone was announced I got very excited by the interface and touch screen, but wasn’t too keen on the idea of changing phone companies and being tied to a long and expensive contract.
Without the phone, the iPod touch is more akin to a PDA, or if you’re feeling nostalgic, the new Newton. However, for me, there’s a few things missing - Bluetooth, Mail and iChat. Add these to the mix and you have a very desirable product, at a sensible price too.

- Wait for Leopard?
- Standards support in email clients
- Get in!!!!
- Not bad for a Bathgate lad
- iPod Newton
- New Presence website
- SPL highlights online
- Shiny new iMacs

Yeah, that' essentially what it boils down to. I guess all those iPhone users, including myself, don’t feel too special anymore, lol.
