Rooting for the rookie

I’m really looking forward to this weekends British GP at Silverstone. The emergence of Lewis Hamilton has really heightened my interest in this years F1 season. For a rookie driver to lead the championship by 14 points after 8 races is an incredible achievement.

Things seemed to be going all Lewis' way until the French GP last week, when Ferrari suddenly found their form. Raikkonen seems to be finally waking up so it’ll be interesting to see how Hamilton and McLaren respond at Silverstone this weekend.

Of course, if it slashes down like it has been doing all week, it’ll be a feat for any driver to simply finish the race.
