Life in the Undergrowth

I really enjoyed the first programme of David Attenborough’s new series last night : Life in the Undergrowth. Some of the footage in the programme was truly amazing.

The highlight was probably the footage of two Leopard Slugs mating (honestly!). If I explained to you how they actually get it on you wouldn’t believe me, but fortunately the BBC website has some footage so you can see for yourself.

The series runs for 5 weeks on BBC 1 every Wednesday night at 9pm.

I watched it too. Really amazing stuff.

When I watch TV or a films these days, there’s not much that has me completely baffled about how they filmed it (thanks to CGI etc.). But how they film creatures like this really is a mystery to me.
