You snooze, you lose
Sheesh — you turn your back for a minute (well, a couple of days) and miss an entire web conference. A web conference in the UK no less!
Andy Budd and co. at Clearleft announced the d.Construct event on Sunday afternoon, opened up registration at lunchtime this afternoon and sold it out within an hour (expect to see tickets on eBay any day soon).
So, if like me, you had your mind elsewhere for a few days (like buried under some project work) you will have missed out too.
Hopefully the guys will have taken note of the enthusiasm for next time — a bigger venue and more notice please!

Shame you couldn’t make it as it was a really good day. We plan for a bigger venue next year, so hopefully more people will have a chance to participate.
I managed to get my HR dept. to manically refresh the reg page at noon yesterday, so I’ve got a ticket. I’m not selling, though...
I’m really looking forward to the day - especially getting my head round what Web 2.0 means from the point of view of a "traditional" web site publisher, rather than a maker of web apps (which all the examples of web2.0-ness seem to be).
