Nerds no more
It’s official, we are no longer known as geeks, or as the BBC terms us - socially inadequate losers (cheers very much) - and we are in fact "sociable and successful animals". In a interesting survey by Warwick University on internet usage in the UK, the researcher claims that "the web is helping to strengthen the quality of British society".
Well there you go, recognition at last - or until the next time a chat room paedophile is caught or someone publishes bomb-making instructions online.
