The CSS House

I wonder who’d live in a CSS house?... Probably a bachelor’s gaff with Meyer, Zeldman and Bowman all fighting over the TV remote I reckon. Maybe with Tantek popping round for a cup of herbal tea now and again.

Having a CSS house would be great. Decorating would be a cinch - no more hassle and money spent on paint and tools - a little javascript and you’d have a whole new colour scheme, an extra room even!

Though, it wouldn’t be without it’s problems - imagine if you came to sell it and the new owner used IE5 for Windows. You’d no doubt have to get in some workmen to install a few box model hacks in case it fell down.

Ahem...

HAHAHAHA, I can see them ordering out for pizza. But they’d better call in Dave Shea, I think he’s busy in the garden. ;)

M'sieur Zeldman is *quite* happily married, thank you very much, to the stunning Carrie Bickner-Zeldman.

OK I get the hint about IE5. Thanks for the mention!

No problem Chris. Impressive example of coding by the way ;-)

I don’t think they’d survive as roomates - too many sharp-witted personalities... :)

You’re right, though - a little alternate style sheets could really make that house amazing!

The other problem with living in a CSS House reveals itself at dinner time: It isn’t easy to consume one’s meal in a house that contains no tables.

Eric: Tables would be fineóbut not nailed to the wall for purely decorative purposes.
