Now Everything Sucks
Microsoft have 'unleashed' the Xbox on the gaming community of the US and so far the reviews have been fairly mixed. One of the comments that caught my attention was a BBC analyst claiming that it may take 5 years before the unit makes a profit for Microsoft. Bill Gates hopes to sell more of his $300 consoles than Sony’s Playstation 2, of which 20 million have shifted since it’s launch nearly a year ago. By my calculations, that it is one huge investment by Microsoft. It’ll be interesting to see how it fares in the coming months.
