Circus
Last week, for the first time since I was very small, I went to see a circus. The Chinese Circus were in town and we thought - why not? Anything to get away from crap TV (I’m a Celebrity - Get me out of here!) and depressing football results (see below).
The acts were all excellent, though one which produced many gasps and head-scratching featured a girl balancing a tea-cup on her head and throwing spoons into it with her foot.
Not bad, then she started to do it whilst riding a unicycle. Okay, impressive, but then they rolled a large sphere into the ring and she popped on top it, still unicycling, still balancing the tea cup and still throwing teacups into it with her foot. Extraordinary.
