Quixotic Abandon

Tonight Scotland play their first ever game under German coach Berti Vogts, and it’s a nice easy one to start with - the World and European champions France, on their own turf, in the Stade de France...

In a brave (foolish?) move, Vogts has been in the papers saying that a win for Scotland is not out of the question - I think this is a tad optimistic, though I reckon if we manage to force a corner we can go home happy...

Oh dear - not a good score line. England Lost - Scotland lost (I wanted them to Win as Freedman was playing) but at least Ireland one, with Morrison scoring.

Ouch! France looked out of this world last night. Every goal was amazing.

A baptism of fire for Berti.

Aye, good on the Irish - I wish them well in the World Cup. As for Scotland, the stats speak for themselves - goals by Zidane, Henry, Trezeguet - totally outclassed.

Sick as a parrot!
