Survey
More ground breaking research from Abbey National (see also Irony) has brought to light many of the concerns web users have of the internet. In a startling array of responses, the research reveals that users get frustrated at sites that take too long to load, are hard to navigate, bombard the customers with pop-up adverts and force users to fill out long registration forms. Really?
Sarcasm aside, a worrying find is that users who have had bad experiences with individual websites, tend to associate this behaviour with the entire internet. I find this a strange (not to mention, irrational) reaction - if you listen to a bad record on the radio you don’t throw out the radio, do you?

hmm... trying to think of another word than ‘surfers’ - maybe ‘users’ is not much better... punters?
