More power to Bob Bemer. The 82 year old programmer from Dallas has derailed BT’s attempts to patent hyperlinking by claiming that he orginated the coding concept back in 1960.
The news that BT were attempting to patent hyperlinking was met with great derision, but now it’s come to light that the concept wasn’t even created by them, the whole case seems ludicrous.
