Apple Lust
Thank god for Jonathon Ive. Not only is he a talented industrial designer responsible for design classics like the iMac and 22" Cinema Display, but he also shields us from the possibilities of Apple responding to the design whims of some of it’s fans.
Wired has a good article all about the Apple aficionados who spend hours in 3D apps designing what they think the next iMac or G4 should look like. Most of the designs are pretty poor, though I thought Robert Emslie’s G5 suggestion was quite tasty.
Rather than re-design your hypothetical Mac, you can instead customise your existing G4 thanks to the people at Apple Skinz. Check out the Dukes of Hazzard hotrod styles!
