The Vampire Rabbit

This is a legendary doorway in Newcastle upon Tyne. Situated near the churchyard of St. Nicholas Cathedral is the magnificent pink doorway to some offices (I’m unsure who currently rents them). Quite an eye-catching entrance, but the really interesting aspect is the vampire rabbit perched at the top. I’m not sure of the origin or meaning of this little statue, but it’s one of Newcastle’s most intriguing, and less known, architectural delights.

We once did a Vampire game based around this. We had a WereRabbit that had been Embraced, and we had a Were Coyote helping us chase it. Sound like anything familiar? Coyote chasing a Rabbit?
