Not surprising really - it’s a great photo opportunity. I can’t imagine I was the first to capture it. I wonder what the lovely Carol Mayla made of it?....
And here’s <a href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/england/looknorthnecumbria/weather/calendar_competition/april/april_gallery_47.shtml">the photo in question</a>. Although it’s interesting the way different buildings are captured in the different columns, the picture quality doesn’t look that good here - I wonder whether the original was better.

Yeah see what you mean. Quality isn’t great but it’s quite nice the way he’s photographed the corner of Eldon to capture other buildings around it.
I might have to submit a few snaps now and again!

Did you see the results of Look North’s photo competition the other night? There was a winning photo that looked *very* much like this one.
