Plant X

Plant X

Just experimenting with the macros lens on my Fuji really and this turned out quite well. I’m not sure what kind of plant it is, but it seems to be fond of Gateshead, as it burst into life a few days after we moved. Must be the lead in the water...

If you’re interested, it looks like your plant might be a coleus of some variety. The colours and leaf shape look right, but I can’t find one with that pattern.

Heh. Looks pretty familiar to me Mal. Cheers for the heads-up! I’m not big on plants and gardening stuff, but I’m slowly getting round to it since moving.
