How about a nice game of chess?
Apple have started to ship out replacement batteries for some of the 15-inch PowerBook models. The recalled batteries apparently had problems with overheating. Strange as it may seem, this led to quite an enjoyable hour of entertainment in the office…
We’ve got a 1Ghz 15-inch PB in the office, so we received a replacement battery yesterday. In the packaging with the new battery were instructions on completely discharging the recalled battery before sending it back. One of the tips on running down the charge quicker than usual was to launch the Chess game and set it to play computer vs computer.
This caused an unexpected hour of entertainment in the office, as we sat back and watched the computer try to outdo itself — like something from War Games. We tried to make it more interesting by betting on the outcome (with a cup of tea being the prize), though most games ended in stalemate (as you may expect).
Anyway, before long, the battery was dead and the PowerBook was exhausted after chasing it’s own tail for the last hour, and we all went back to work.

That is awesome. I think you should name your hard drive "Falken" now.
