iTunes 4.5

If you haven’t heard about it already, Apple have released version 4.5 of iTunes. The main features are :

iMix — share your compilations on iTMS (a bit like listmania on Amazon).
Party Shuffle — give Fatboy Slim a run for his money.
Printing — smart printing of CD artwork and track listings.
Trailers — movie trailers and music videos are now viewable through iTMS.
WMA to AAC — good news for Windows users.
Apple Lossless — CD quality at (nearly) half the size.

I found the iTunes buttons next to each song a bit annoying, until I discovered you can turn them off in the preferences.There’s also this hint at macosxhints.com that allows you to change their function:

Aye, I turned off the Music Store in the prefs too. Not much point in the UK :-(
