Signing Off
I’ve decided to shut down this Mac OS X weblog. What few visitors remain will have noted that posts have been few and far between in recent months. I’ve been struggling to find the time to write posts, and so rather than watch this weblog die a slow death, I’ve decided to knock it on the head.
All posts will remain online for the benefit of Google, and are accessible through the archive. If you’re looking for regular and informative news on Apple and Mac OS X, check out some of the websites listed under the Frequent drop-down menu on the main page.
Thanks to Adam, Matt, Garrett, Scott and Charles for their contributions over the last few years. Until we meet again…

Thanks for the kind comments all – I should emphasise that I’m not stopping the whole site, just this particular part of it.
I can’t devote the time I used to and there are lots of other sites out there doing this thing better than me, so I figured I should just bow out gracefully.
This is unfortunate. Sure, the posts may have been infrequent but I always looked forward to reading them. :-(

You know, you posted about a site of mine recently, and this was the only place it was mentioned. I think you have some big readers because since then, just nearly two weeks ago, I’ve had nearly 100,000 visitors, including links from Daring Fireball, MacSlash, Airbag Industries, & Mac News to name but a few.
I haven’t posted much either lately, but it seems a bit quiet in the Mac world at the moment.
Sorry to see this section of your site go.

Are you sure you won’t reconsider? There’s clearly still a lot of interest. Maybe all we needed was a kick up the pants, and this is it!
