Updated iBooks

Apple have updated the range of iBooks. Processing power has increased and Airport cards are now standard across the range. Price reductions also bring down the 12-inch model below the magic $1000 mark (in the US obviously).

The revised 14-inch model looks particularly good value — 1.33 GHz G4, 60Gb HD and DVD-R/CD-RW for £1049. Certainly a worthy alternative to the 12-inch PowerBook G4.

Far be it from me to circulate rumours, but a revision to the iBook range suggests that the G5 PowerBooks may not be too far away…

Macworld SF 2005 most likely. Only Steve could announce the G5 PowerBook.
