iChat AV 2.1 Public Beta
Apple just released iChat AV 2.1, which offers the ability to video conference with Windows users running the latest version of AOL Instant Messenger. The version is released as a "Public Beta."
It should be noted that Windows users can also use iSight cameras, although they will have to use a secondary microphone because Windows cannot use the mic built into the FireWire camera.

Very cool news.
Also should be noted that PC users will need a six-pin firewire port for the iSight. Most PCs seem to ship with four-pin ports. :|

Now I can have AV chats with my (Windows-based) brother in sunny Oz without racking up huge phone calls. Lovely jubbly.
