Remember the discovery of the calendar utility stashed under the UNIX hood of OS X? Well this hint on macoxshints has uncovered a curious easter egg ó dates that correspond to events in Lord of the Rings :
cat /usr/share/calendar/calendar.history | grep "LOTR"
Don’t forget ó tomorrow is the anniversary of the passing of Gandalf.
