Panther Preview at WWDC
June’s Apple WWDC will feature a preview of the next release of OS X, codenamed Panther.
There doesn’t seem to be much word from Apple about what to expect from Panther, but, as always, this hasn’t stopped many sites speculating features such as system-wide metal interface, support for 64-Bit architecture, QuickTime 6.5, iChat 2.0 with video-conferencing capabilities, Safari 1.0, updated iApps (possible inclusion of iWorks?), enhanced Dock, overall system speed enhancements, optimized for new systems (AMD, Itanium or PPC970)....
