PHP 5 on Panther

PHPMac.com have published guidelines on upgrading your local installation of PHP to the newly released version 5.0.0.

I had to edit my Apache config file a little to get it all going, but this was probably down to my previous attempts to get Tomcat piped through Apache. If you haven’t messed about with your Apache/PHP install before, you should have no problems.

I tried the same tutorial, worked fine except the Apache config issue. Also, the GD libraries tutorial needs to be merged into the install so all can be done in one shot.

Still, all these problems added maybe 10 minutes to the whole ordeal, I am very happy with the way it runs on my AL Book 1.15.
